ARTOMA
Art and Cultural Management

In 1994 ARTOMA Art and Cultural Management was established to bring into being diverse exhibition projects in cooperation with national and international art institutions. These include monographic and thematic, as well as traveling exhibitions in the fields of painting, sculpture, drawing, graphic arts, and photography. We have been initiating successful exhibition projects that meet highest art-historical and aesthetic standards for over twenty years maintaining close contact to museums, private art institutions and partners, collectors and galleries worldwide.

SERVICES

The members of our professional interdisciplinary team accompany exhibition projects through all vital stages, from their conception to their realization and follow-up. Our exhibition management profile is based on profound expertise in art and cultural history as well as extensive experience in the successful organization of exhibitions. Beyond the conception and realization of exhibition projects, our service portfolio includes the supervision of art lending transactions, transport logistics, exhibition and catalogue design and the coordination of press activities and media relations.

PERFORMANCE SPECTRUM

Encompassing all aspects of the exhibition format and content, our performance spectrum is flexibly adaptable to meet the individual wishes and unique requirements of our cooperation partners:

IDEA & CONCEPTION

We seek to develop innovative exhibition concepts that enhance the aesthetic and art-historical quality of each individual artwork. Our concepts as well as the selection of works for presentation and possible lenders are based upon extensive and rigorous research.

REALIZATION & ORGANIZATION

To ensure a smooth and successful realization process, we are committed to coordinate all steps of the exhibition organization in adherence to a concise budget and time management. Our services can include negotiation and transaction with the lenders and completion of loan contracts, “nail to nail” insurance, professional packaging and storage of the art works, transport, customs clearance, professional art handling with on-site facility reports during the installation and dismantling of the exhibition, the spatial scenography and placement of the works in the exhibition.

DESIGN & LAYOUT

The exhibition design, graphic design and promotional design follow comprehensive aesthetic guidelines. Our services extend from the typographical layout of exhibition labels and walltexts to the editorial treatment of exhibition guides, flyers, press releases and other essential information material.

MEDIA RELATIONS & COMMUNICATION

Our media relations, communication and educational mediation activities range from the preparation of press kits to the realization of multilingual exhibition catalogues with in-depth contributions by established art historians and cultural theorists in collaboration with a renowned international publishing house.

RATES

Our “curatorial rate” is based on the individual requirements of our cooperation partners and may include any of the services listed above. We are deeply committed to offer an adaptable performance spectrum that meets the unique expectations and needs of our partner
